A great musical encounter between two top musicians of the new generation in the tradition of the Black Sea trails.

This effort aims to brotherhood through understanding the different nationalities of the Black Sea with traditional music and modern arrangements of touching the audience in Greece and Turkey.

Participating dancing groups: “Pontian Union of Polichni” and “Akrites of Pontos, stavroupoli”

THEOFILOS POUTACHIDIS

One of the best known young artists of Pontian music, great master of the lyre, born in Oinoi Kozani. At an early age migrate along with their parents in Munich, where he is paying his first artistic steps, beginning his involvement with the Pontian tradition and Pontian lyra in 1993 through the Pontian Association of Munich where distinguished and rewarded his first appearance in Munich 1993 alongside legendary Chrysanthos and Chris Chryssanthakopoulos marked his artistic path.

Since then he has performed in many concerts in Greece and abroad, while playing in music halls and pontian festivals. His characteristic voice, made him very popular all over the world.

Active discography, performing with his Pontian traditional lyre purposes but also his own new musical compositions

He taught (five consecutive years) Pontian lyre at the Music High School of Ptolemais as a deputy teacher. Also  has appeared with great success by the world renowned Turkish artist Omar Faruk Tekbilek at Thessaloniki Concert Hall.

APOLAS LERMI

The young singer Apolaw Lermi, born in Tonya Trabzon, one of the Greek-speaking villages of the Pontos.

He began to investigate and record the old lyre players and artists who lived in Trabzon. The aim was and still is to contribute to  the preservation of  the unique cultural heritage on the coast of the Black Sea where lived the Greek-speaking natives of Pontos.

He has made known the particular culture of the Black Sea, with his songs and his performances in Turkey and Europe.

Recently Apollas Lermi appeared in Athens, guest of Pontian Youth Union of Attica with hundreds of Pontians and the audience flooded the room to listen to the guy by Tonya, who awakened memories of the lost homeland.

The concert has been cancelled due to the weather conditions.
